If I or anyone I loved had cancer, I would get myself or them to the Gerson Institute in San Diego, CA. The Gerson Institute, founded by Dr. Max Gerson's daughter Charlotte Gerson, is clearly the best chance I believe I would have to survive cancer. Dr. Max Gerson was a doctor who has cured cancer. He practiced successful cancer therapy. Max Gerson, M.D. (1881-1959), can be considered as the father of alternative medicine, he developed the theory that cancer is caused by environmental factors consumed in the food supply, which depletes the body's natural immunity and defensive capabilities. He believed in the whole body approach with detoxification of the body as the cornerstone to rehabilitation. The basis of Dr. Gerson's therapy is to restore the liver and rebuild our own immune system through a diet of organic fruits and vegetables consumed primarily through juicing. The diet also stressed low fats and no meat or dairy. He published A Cancer Therapy in 1958, an alternative cancer cure book. Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez, M.D. is a graduate of Cornell University Medical School, and is an alternative medicine doctor. He undertook a five-year case study of Dr. Kelley's cancer patients. Dr. William Donald Kelley (1925-2005) was a dentist by training who developed a successful cancer therapy after curing himself of pancreatic cancer. The China Study, by T. Colin Campbell The most comprehensive study of nutrition ever undertaken of the relationship between diet and the risks of developing disease. The project was a partnership between Cornell University, Oxford University and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine. The findings of The China Study: "People who ate the most animal-based foods got the most chronic disease...
